"This is HANDS DOWN the best Szechuan l/Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Seeing as Chinese is my favourite food, I’ve tried many places. Many are good, but they play in comparison to this place. Their peanut butter dumplings are so delicious. I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else either. When I go to Montreal I always visit my friend Rachel and we go here. She knows now that we do lol. And we always have a great time. The quantities of food are abundant, the service and hospitality is excellent. The prices are good. I can’t say enough good things about their food. ALL positive food adjectives should thought of when reading this review. If you haven’t been there yet - Go. Take it from Big Mama, I LOVE food and this is the BEST."

Everything was very tasty and the” fried” dishes were not oily at all. Value for your dollar was great, especially since the cost of food has gotten so expensive. And the husband and wife (family business) were extremely hospitable.

"I really enjoy the food in Chinatown but with parking these days and the distance, it is not worth the commute. La Chinoise has tasty food, quick service and the people there seem nice. The price is fair. Is it as good as Chinatown? No but I'm grateful to have Chinese food that I can access easily though."
"The owners are incredibly generous and kind. We even received a free gift! Our meals were delicious. Service was very fast. Food quality is exceptional. It's one of our favourite restaurants. Peanut butter dumplings were awesome!"
"Not bad at all! We ordered the special for two and selected Sesame Beef, General Tao, Fried WonTons, etc. For the price, we got more than enough food (for people saying they need more: c'mon what'd you expect? Order for two and get food for a week of leftovers? Those days are over!) and it was actually better than I expected. Its a step above the "American Chinese food" junk of chicken balls, mu shu pork, etc served by most other restaurants around here. My ONLY critique is that the wonton soup could have used a bit more flavoring but that's it. Otherwise, a good experience and will be back again."
